Car collides with Chicago bus, injuring 10
Ten people have been taken to hospitals after a car crossed the center lane of a Chicago street and collided with a CTA bus.
The Chicago Tribune reports the driver of the car was one of two people taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious-to-critical condition. Eight other people were taken to three other area hospitals in conditions ranging from good to serious.
Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer tells The Associated Press the accident happened about 1:30 a.m. Saturday on South Jeffrey Boulevard. She says several people on the bus who were taken to hospitals had what were believed to be minor injuries.
