About this Article

The Lake in the Hills Historical Society Friday moved the 1886 Ford schoolhouse back home to its original location. The school, which closed more than 70 years ago and was moved four blocks away to be a place for farm workers to live in, is now back where it was originally built. The historical society will turn it into a museum.
