Dismal campaign, dismal record

Dismal campaign, dismal record

It probably came as no surprise, that after we elected a man as president with no experience in management, business, or foreign relations, that he performed up to those standards. But what has been surprising is that his re-election team seems to have no better qualifications,

They started out by criticizing stay at home moms, in their now dead war on women program. Then it was the attack on the church and the 1st Amendment. Another loser. And then the worn out blame it on Bush. The public is wise to this one too. Notice what is missing is any praise of his own accomplishments. Because there is nothing to praise. Just a mess.

But the biggest surprise of all has been his attack on capitalism and the free enterprise system. The very thing that has made this country great. One of the things we go to war to defend.

From President Clinton on down, people have heaped praise on Mr. Romney for his Bain Capitol company, with over 22 prominent Democrats stepping forward to acknowledge its success. And why not. Bain Capitol is a $60 billion company with offices in the U.S. and around the world. It has invested in or acquired over 250 companies, including such notable companies as AMC entertainment, Burger King, Burlington Coat Factory, Dominos Pizza, Dunkin' Donuts, Sports Authority, Staples, (which employs 88,000 people), Toys "r" Us, The Weather Channel and Warner Music Group. All with private money. Not one penny of government money. No wonder President Clinton said Mr. Romney has a "sterling" business career a Bain Capitol.

What a dismal campaign. but then what a dismal record to run on.
