Built about a half century ago, the boxlike former fire station and garage that has been used for decades as the Lakemoor village hall is tattered and tired, an image village leaders would like to shed. Village administrrative functions have moved to temporary office space while a needs analysis to determine the next best move is being completed. "The old image has got to go," said Mayor Todd Weihofen.
