The Vernon Hills Park District hosts its first "Park Chat" of the season from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5 at Cynthia Peterson Park, 200 Hawthorn Parkway, Vernon Hills. Park district staff will be available to chat with residents at the playgrounds on selected evenings throughout the summer. Kids will receive small giveaways and Bo-Bo's restaurant will provide complimentary snacks. There is no agenda for the "Park Chats" but it is an opportunity for residents and staff to have casual conversations.
