Kane County Cougars, Illini announce partnership

Illinois Fighting Illini fans will receive special ticket discounts to selected Kane County Cougars games as part of a new cross-promotional partnership between the teams, officials announced Tuesday.

The Cougars’ game against Burlington on June 30 will feature an “Illini Night” promotion, with a portion of ticket sales going to Illinois Athletics. The Marching Illini will be performing at the game, and the Cougars will wear orange and blue uniforms.

By entering the promotional code “ILLINI” when ordering tickets for the game, Illini fans can receive 25 percent off reserved seat and lawn tickets. Similar offers are in place for the Cougars’ games on July 15, July 26, Aug. 16 and Sept. 2.
