Canadian airline begins daily flights from O'Hare
Trips from Chicago to Canada just got easier.
Canadian airline WestJet is offering daily nonstop flights from O'Hare International Airport to two destinations in Canada.
The service began Monday, marking the first time WestJet has operated out of O'Hare. The flights are to Vancouver in British Columbia and Calgary in Alberta.
The Canadian airline will still market nonstop service to three other locations, including Toronto, through its partner American Airlines.
Chicago Department of Aviation officials say O'Hare has more than 60 daily departures to 11 destinations in Canada.
