Arlington Heights Panera closing Tuesday

text size: AAA

The Panera Bread at 1736 W. Algonquin Road in Arlington Heights will close for good at the end of business Tuesday, according to store employees.

Employees said the property's landlord found a different tenant that could guarantee staying in the shopping center permanently, which Panera could not.

It was not known what business would be replacing Panera.

Panera Bread has two other Arlington Heights locations, downtown at 31 S. Evergreen Ave. and on the north end of town at 5 W. Rand Road.
