For the past five years, The Bartlett Historical Society and Arts in Bartlett have partnered to bring the stories and images of area historic buildings to the Bartlett village hall for a monthlong exhibit in the 2nd Floor Gallery, 228 Main St., Bartlett.
The fifth annual exhibit, with 19 photos and artworks of the people and places representing Bartlett’s rich history, will be on display through May 30 during the village hall hours from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
A key feature of this exhibit are the six buildings the Bartlett Historical Society will honor with a plaque noting the year they were built for owners to affix to the building.
The plaguing ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, during the village board meeting, which will be preceded by a reception at the gallery from 5:30-6:45 p.m.
All are welcome to attend this free reception with refreshments and to visit with the owners, photographers and artists featured in the exhibit.
