The Forest Preserve District of Cook County is developing a new Camping Master Plan and seeking input from residents. In addition to updating and enhancing the current camp facilities available for organized youth groups, officials are considering adding camping experiences and programs to engage broader populations such as families, retreat or reunion groups, day camps and people with special needs. The district is encouraging residents to complete a survey at fpdcc.com/camping.
