Readers cheer on the Fittest Losers

text size: AAA

"Keep a food diary; any small notebook will work. Writing down everything you eat and drink not only makes you more cognizant of your daily calorie intake, it becomes a tangible record of how and when you are consuming food (afternoon snacks, late-night pantry raids). The diary can be as detailed or as brief as you choose to make it. It also helps to remind you that every day is a new page and a 'fresh start.'"

Contributed by Katrina Kuhn of Winfield who will receive a $25 gift card from Jewel-Osco.
