Poll Vault: What would you say to a graduating class?

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, my alma mater, announced this week that news analyst Cokie Roberts will be the speaker for the campuswide graduation ceremonies May 13 at Assembly Hall.

When I graduated, in 1994, the commencement speaker was then-first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. As I recall, she talked about health care.

If you were asked to speak to a graduating class, what would you say? What sage advice could you impart to the Class of 2012?
