First Friday back in Libertyville:

Downtown Libertyville stores and restaurants will celebrate Art Month as the kick off the 2012 First Friday promotion from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 2. Local artists will display their work in many of the downtown stores and restaurants. The event includes performances at Dancenter North by special guests Work in Progress and the Upstairs Jazz companies and a “Casa Idol” competition at Casa Bonita restaurant, as well as food samples, wine tastings, music and special promotions.
