Elgin man sought in Bartlett bar shooting

Bartlett police are seeking a 23-year-old Elgin man in connection with a shooting early Sunday morning outside the Cadillac Ranch nightclub. The victim, who was shot in the back of the head, was listed in stable condition Monday.

Bartlett police say they're looking for a 23-year-old Elgin man in connection with the weekend shooting outside the Cadillac Ranch nightclub. Village officials say they don't want to have a "knee-jerk reaction" to the shooting, but look into criminal issues related to the business, which holds a 4 a.m. liquor license. “We absolutely are not going to tolerate this type of criminal activity in Bartlett,” Village President Michael Airdo said.
