Two donors have given a total of $1,500 to Fenton High School's Special Olympics basketball team, which qualified to compete at state this March. The school will host a benefit game Feb. 8 to raise funds for the remainder of the team's travel costs.

Fenton High School's Special Olympics basketball team is much closer to collecting funds needed to compete in a state tournament next month. After reading an article about the Bensenville team last week in the Daily Herald, an anonymous donor from Bloomingdale gave $1,000 to their effort, while a local bank donated $500.
