Droves of shoppers have begun filling the aisles of the long-awaited Mariano's Fresh Market, which opened its doors early Tuesday in Palatine. The upscale grocery store, which bills itself as having world-class shopping at competitive prices, is the fifth Chicago-area Mariano's location, joining stores in Arlington Heights, Vernon Hills and two in Chicago.
