Concert for food bank in Vernon Hills
HiFi Superstar, one of the area’s hottest rock bands, will perform Friday, Feb. 3 at “My First Rock Concert and Food Drive” hosted by Cub Scouts Pack 273 at Hawthorn Middle School South, 430 North Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 6:45 p.m. Admission is nonperishable food items and/or cash. Light refreshments and entry into a free raffle is included with admission. The show will be geared toward children ranging in age from 5 to 18 and their families, but anyone of any age is welcomed. Email danlohanson@comcast.net.
