The helicopters are provided by Flight for Life, Ministry Spirit Medical Transport, ThedaStar and UW Health Med Flight. They are scheduled to land Wednesday at the convention center’s loading dock.

The keynote speaker is EMS Training Chief Mike Redshaw of the Joplin, Missouri Fire and EMS agencies, who will be sharing his experiences Friday with the Joplin tornado.

VISIT Milwaukee estimates the conference’s economic impact at $1.5 million.

Wisconsin EMS Association is a non-profit member-based association representing EMS professionals in the state.
