Five Bulls on NBA all-star ballot
Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose is one of five Bulls on this year's NBA all-star ballot for the Feb. 26 game in Orlando. Voting is already under way at nba.com and through text and SMS services.
The Bulls will have five players on this year's NBA all-star ballot — guards Derrick Rose and Richard Hamilton, forwards Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer, and center Joakim Noah.
Balloting began Wednesday at NBA arenas, Online at nba.com or by texting the player's last name to 69622 (MyNBA).
This year's balloting also includes expanded SMS voting. Fans can now vote for 10 different players per day, per phone number, by sending 10 separate SMS messages, each one with a different player's last name. Fans can vote for all-stars via SMS at any time by texting from their mobile phones. Previously, fans could cast one SMS vote for one player per day.
Voting will conclude on Jan. 31 and the starters will be announced on TNT on Feb. 2. This year's all-star game will take place Feb. 26 in Orlando.
Last year, Rose became the Bulls' first all-star starter since Michael Jordan in 1998.
