Fire officials said Monday the fire remains under investigation.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Smith said. The cause of death has yet to be determined, Kane County Coroner Chuck West said Monday afternoon.

Fire officials said the blaze caused about $90,000 in damages to the home.

Smith said the fire does not appear suspicious.

Officials said more information would be released later, after the investigation is completed.
