Navy LT Daniel Smigielski receives a hero’s welcome Friday, at St. Patrick’s School in Wadsworth. Lt. Smigielski teaches at St. Patrick’s School in Wadsworth, IL and is a volunteer coach with his sons’ baseball and hockey teams and was mobilized to Afghanistan for 10 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was stationed at Headquarters International Security Assistance Force (HQ ISAF), Kabul, Afghanistan.
