Lest anyone doubt there is a growing abundance of people in need, even in the suburbs, consider these statistic from Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry in Naperville: It just completed its busiest week ever, serving 764 families. In October, the pantry served 9,244 people, helped 704 single moms feed their families, provided food to 768 seniors, 568 disabled residents and 4,050 children.
