Arlington Heights food drive wrapping up

A food drive for the Wheeling Township Food Pantry in Arlington Heights ends Thursday, Nov. 17.

Kerry Lavelle, who founded the Arlington Food Drive through the Lavelle Law Charities, said the need for items provided by the pantry is great this year.

"We have collection boxes throughout the community in an effort to make it easy for people to make a donation while running their usual errands throughout town," she said. "We hope people will keep us in mind, especially over the weekend, to help in any way they can. The need in our community is significant."
