Pedestrian struck at Arlington Heights intersection
A pedestrian was hit and injured while crossing the street at an Arlington Heights intersection Monday night, according to police.
A man was crossing Euclid Avenue at Arlington Heights Road at about 5:45 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle making a left turn, said Arlington Heights Police Sgt. Tom Boggs.
The man suffered multiple nonlife-threatening injuries and was taken to Northwest Community Hospital, police said.
Southbound lanes of Arlington Heights Road were shut down for about 30 minutes after the man was struck, Boggs said.
The crash remained under investigation late Monday.
