‘The Glee Project’ plans Chicago auditions

Cable TV network Oxygen hasn’t officially announced a second season of “The Glee Project” yet. But that hasn’t stopped the reality TV show’s casting directors who are on the lookout for local talent to audition for a potential “Glee Project” return.

Singers/dancers/actors who are over 18 (but who can also convincingly portray high schoolers) are sought to compete in the reality TV competition to find new or visiting cast members of the hit FOX-TV series “Glee.” Open call auditions are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Nov. 6 and 7, at McCormick Place Convention Center, South Hall (Floors 4 and 5), 2301 S. Lakeshore Drive, Chicago. Those auditioning must also be available for production in or about January through April 2012 and be willing to travel as part of production.

Those hoping to bring their own unique style to “Glee” should visit thegleeproject.oxygen.com to preregister and find additional information on eligibility requirements.
