Motorcyclist injured in Naperville crash

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries as a result of a crash in Naperville Friday night, authorities said.

Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Naper Blvd. and Ogden Avenue at 7:22 p.m. after the motorcycle collided with a Honda Civic, Naperville police said.

Authorities said the operator of the Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling east on Ogden. As the motorcycle passed through the intersection, the driver of the Honda was making a left turn onto southbound Naper.

The motorcyclist was transported to Edward Hospital in Naperville by fire department personnel. The driver of the car was not injured in the crash, police said.

The police department's traffic unit is investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call 630-420-5285.
