Third suspect in Antioch robbery ordered held
The third Waukegan man accused in the armed robbery of the Antioch Game Stop store was ordered held on $250,000 bail Tuesday.
Obrian Henigan, 25, faces a mandatory prison sentence of six to 30 years if convicted of the crime.
Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Jason Humke said Henigan and Darrick Yarbrough, 50, entered the store at 489 E. Route 173 around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 27.
Both were armed with handguns, Humke said, and took an undisclosed amount of cash and the videotape of the store’s surveillance system.
They escaped in a black Lincoln Navigator that police said was driven by Donald Palmer, 35, and was caught on another surveillance system camera.
A Lake County sheriff’s deputy spotted the vehicle on the night of Sept. 30, Humke said, and Palmer was taken into custody. Henigan and Yarbrough were arrested the following day.
Associate Judge Raymond Collins set similar bail for Palmer and Yarbrough on Monday, and all three men are scheduled to appear in court Nov. 1.
