Vernon Area Public Library patrons who own Kindle tablets can download free e-books from the library through MyMediaMall. People can browse the Lincolnshire library’s collection of best-sellers and classics on any computer. With a library card, they can check out the titles by clicking “Get for Kindle.” Books also can be downloaded to any tablet loaded with the free Kindle app. The library also offers e-books and audiobooks for use on traditional computers, smart phones and mp3 players.
