District 62 holding open house for new learning center
Des Plaines Elementary District 62 parents and community members are invited to an open house for the new Early Learning Center addition at Forest Elementary School, 1375 South 5th Ave.
The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at the center, which opened Aug. 29 to more than 400 students. Visitors will be able to tour the environmentally friendly and energy-efficient addition. Refreshments will be provided.
