Haunted house glorifies evil events

It is beyond imagination that anyone would glorify the grisly events surrounding the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair that are portrayed in the new Rosemont haunted house. Celebrating a deranged man’s actions should not be front page news. Our young people are becoming psychically dulled to the precious gift of life by the over-the-top “reality” that is a featured part of modern society. The village of Rosemont should not be part of re-creating this tragedy. One can only wish for the display to be a huge failure.
