Hawaii commerce department debuts mobile app

HONOLULU — The Hawaii state government's first app is debuting on the iPad, iPhone, Android and other mobile devices.

The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs said Friday the application will make it easier for the public to search for a business name and purchase certificates of good standing.

The department says these services are some of the most popular on websites run by the state government.

To access the mobile app, go to business.ehawaii.gov using a mobile device. A mobile version of the department's Business Registration Division website will automatically show up.

No downloads or installation are required to view the app.
