Glen Ellyn man charged with child porn possession

A Glen Ellyn man is charged with four counts of aggravated possession of child pornography, DuPage County Sheriff officials announced Thursday.

Daniel A. Zito, 24, of the 2N400 block of Prairie Avenue, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by members of the DuPage County Sheriff’s Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division, said Dawn Domrose of the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.

The unit was working with the Elmhurst Police Department on an investigation of Zito during the past few months.

In a search of his home, two computers were seized, and several pornographic child movies were discovered, Domrose said.

Zito was being held in the DuPage County jail.
