First movie at Wrigley: 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'

Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off," the classic 1986 John Hughes film shot in Chicago and the suburbs, will be the first movie ever shown at Wrigley Field on Saturday, Oct. 1.

It will be seen on multiple screens around the perimeter of the field.

Groupon is sponsoring the event and selected the movie, which contains a famous scene at Wrigley Field.

The night also will feature a Guinness World Records attempt to have the most people sing "Danke Shoen" - a song Ferris sings in the movie - and there'll be cast look-a-likes and other surprises, a Groupon spokeswoman said.

Tickets will be sold via a groupon.comdeal starting at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, at cubs.com and the Chicago Cubs box office.

Tickets are $10 for the bleachers, $25 for outfield lawn seats and $75 for outfield lawn seats with a two-hour VIP party at the Captain Morgan Club, food and drink.

Additional deals will be available on Groupon's "Now! Deals," which in the coming weeks will feature popular Ferris Bueller and Chicago outposts.
