Wisconsin construction worker killed at Elmhurst construction site

A road construction worker has died at an Elmhurst construction site after being struck by a semi-tractor trailer.

The DuPage County coroner says that 38-year-old Daniel Green of Fontana, Wis., died Monday at a hospital in Elmhurst. The coroner’s office is investigating a cause of death. Police tell the Chicago Tribune that Green likely died of “massive traumatic injuries.”

The Elmhurst Fire Department and Illinois State Police responded to the scene.
