Mundelein fire station open house

The Mundelein Fire Department will hold an open house at its main station, 1000 N. Midlothian Road, on Sept. 25. The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. Attendees can tour the station, watch medical helicopters land and witness vehicle extrication demonstrations, among other activities. It’s free to attend.
