SECA applications being accepted in Naperville

Naperville is now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Special Events and Cultural Amenities (SECA) Fund grant program.

SECA grant applications may be submitted for the upcoming fiscal year, May 1, 2012, through April 30, 2013. Applications and program requirements are available on the city’s website. Applications must be completed and submitted online by 5 p.m. Nov. 1.

The Special Events and Cultural Amenities program is funded by a 1 percent food and beverage tax throughout the city, of which three-quarters is contributed to the fund. The other one-quarter of the tax goes into the city’s general fund.
