Buying American leads to job creation

Why worry about jobs going to Asia — if you’re driving a Toyota? My friends wring their hands about “everything is coming from Asia,” but half of them own foreign-branded autos. Does that make sense? We should all know that the old saw about poor American quality is dated and inaccurate. America builds great autos by every standard today.

Your “buying American” is so important now. Don’t let the appearance of a dashboard or a 2 MPG advantage make a difference in your buying American. In one step, you can a) help to reduce unemployment by creating American jobs, b) increase tax revenue to reduce our national debt and c) improve our terrible international trade imbalance.

Our president and all congressmen have spoken “job creation” for three years but I don’t hear any positive plans, do you? This is an issue that, at least and at last, even our dysfunctional Republicans and Democrats must agree upon. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? Think about it, then act.
