CHICAGO -- Bears backup safeties Craig Steltz and Chris Conte and running back Kahlil Bell have left Thursday's preseason game against the Cleveland Browns with injuries.

Bell injured an ankle and Steltz hurt his hip in the first half. Conte left the game with a head injury in the second half.

It wasn't immediately clear how Bell and Conte were injured.

Steltz was in the middle of the scrum trying to make a tackle on a running play with about three minutes left in the second quarter. He stayed down for several minutes and limped off the field with help from medical personnel while dragging his right leg.
