Man injured in Arlington Heights rollover

One person was injured when his vehicle rolled over during a four-vehicle crash in Arlington Heights early Monday evening, according to police.

The man who was injured was initially trapped inside the vehicle on Rand Road just east of Arlington Heights Road but was able to crawl out of the car by the time emergency crews arrived, officials said.

The crash, which occurred at about 6 p.m., involved three other vehicles but no other injuries, said Arlington Heights Fire Department Cmdr. Bill Essling.

The man in the rolled over vehicle was taken to Northwest Community Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, Essling said.

All four vehicles were damaged in the crash and towed from the scene.
