The ‘fair share’ tax lie

The big lie from Democrats is that wealthy Americans “don’t pay their fair share of taxes.” Let’s review the facts.

Fifty-two percent of Americans pay zero federal income taxes. Zero! New IRS data reports that the top 3 percent of income earners making $200,000 or more of income in 2009 paid 50.1 percent of all federal income taxes, which means that the top 3 percent paid more federal income taxes than 97 percent of Americans combined.

The top 3 percent made 25 percent of the total income, but paid 50.1 percent of all federal income taxes. They pay twice as much in federal income taxes versus the income they earn, while 52 percent pay nothing.

How much more blood do we want to suck from those that create jobs and invest in businesses before we destroy them? Democrats and the liberal media are hiding this truth to launch class warfare to avoid the truth that Democrats have failed miserably when they had control of both the House and Senate and the presidency.

If they succeed in these lies, they will kill the goose that laid the golden egg and create a massive and permanent class of “serfs” dependent on government handouts instead of their own jobs and independence. The USA has the highest corporate tax in the world, which has chased millions of jobs to China creating horrible unemployment. If we increase taxes on the job creators and continue to let 52 percent of Americans pay no federal income taxes, we will insure that American prosperity and jobs continue to decline and our children will have less then their parents for the first time in U.S. history.
