Hanover Park hires police officer, deputy village clerk

In the first of two staffing moves recently made by Hanover Park, Raymond Morris has been hired as a police officer for the village. He previously worked as a police officer for the city of Aurora and as a corrections officer for the Cook County Sheriff’s Department.

Also, the village promoted Josie Avilez to deputy village clerk to support Village Clerk/Collector Eira Corral. Avilez started working for the village in August 2007 as water billing clerk.
