Police:Naperville man lured girls with chocolate

A 25-year-old Naperville man remains held without bail in DuPage County jail after police said he coaxed two young girls into his apartment and licked one of them on the lips.

Naperville Sgt. Gregg Bell said Jose P. Jimenez-Alejo was sitting in his vehicle outside his complex on the 1200 block of Whispering Hills Drive about 6:45 p.m. Sunday when he offered the two girls chocolate.

Bell said the girls followed Jimenez-Alejo into a bedroom in his apartment where he gave each of them a chocolate bar. Immediately after giving the victims the candy the suspect leaned over and licked the lips of one of the victims, Bell said. Both girls fled the apartment and notified one of their mothers.

The mother contacted Naperville police and stood by at the suspect’s address until police arrived.

Jimenez-Alejo is charged with battery and child abduction. If and when he is released from jail, police said he will be turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.
