Take a trip with Barrington group

The Barrington Area Council on Aging and Travelex are offering travel opportunities in the year ahead.

BACOA and Travelex trips include:

Montreal and Quebec City Sacred Music Festival, departing Sept. 9, 2011. The five-day trip will include tours of both cities as well as two festival concerts, a  Montreal Symphony concert, and pre-performance lectures by WFMT program host Lisa Flynn. Cost is $3,450 (double; airfare included).

Crystal Wine Cruise with Jim Bryant, departing Sept. 19, 2011. This is a 12-day Mediterranean cruise with stops in Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Italy. Travel from Istanbul to Venice on the Crystal Cruise ship, Serenity.

New York City and the Met trip departs Oct. 20, 2011, and features four days in the Big Apple including two Metropolitan Opera performances; a New York Philharmonic concert and pre-performance lectures by WFMT program host Carl Grapentine. Cost is $2,989 (double; airfare included).

Discover the French Riviera tour departing Sept. 14, 2011. The eight-day trip is based in Nice and includes tours of the city as well as trips to Monaco and San Remo, Italy. Cost is $2,719 (double; airfare included).

California New Year’s Getaway. departure date is Dec. 30, 2011 and includes an early float-viewing for the Tournament of Roses parade, a New Year’s Eve party and reserved seats for the parade on Jan. 2. Optional four-day Las Vegas tour extension is also available for $499 per person. Cost is $1,999 (double; airfare included.)
