Chicago Rush falls to Arizona Rattlers in conference championship
PHOENIX, ARIZ. — A fourth-quarter comeback fell short, and the Chicago Rush (14-6) lost 54-48 to the Arizona Rattlers in the Arena Football League National Conference championship at the US Airways Center on Saturday night before 6,886.
The Rattlers (18-2) will host ArenaBowl XXIV on Friday.
The Rush (14-6) turned the ball over five times. Rush QB JJ Raterink was 19-for-32 with 2 interceptions. Reggie Gray led the Rush with 7 catches for 101 yards and 3 touchdowns and Jason Simpson returned a kickoff 56 yards for a TD.
