Zombie strip is just gross
It is by no means clear what sort of sense of humor would enjoy the current Zombie story line in the Monty comic strip by Jim Meddick.
On occasion, the satire and the pathos of a single man struggling with romance, with employment, with life in general, would be humorous.
This, however, is merely a grotesquerie, unfit for the pages of a fine newspaper. How about replacing it with, say, LuAnn or Mallard Fillmore or Sherman’s Lagoon or any number of other strips that don’t resort to the utter gross out?
