Aurora man shot fatally in Chicago

An Aurora man was shot and killed Thursday night in Chicago, authorities said.
Robert Solomon, 33, of the 400 block of Forest Avenue, sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the side of his chest around 8:30 p.m. on the 4300 block of West Dickens Street in Chicago, police said.
Police found the victim unresponsive on the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:30 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner.
A suspect was reportedly in custody, but the Cook County state’s attorneys office said Friday that no charges had been filed in the case.
