Arthur J. Gallagher names Bohstedt corporate vice president

Itasca-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.'s board of directors has appointed Bill Bohstedt as a corporate vice president.

Bohstedt began his career at Gallagher over 30 years ago as a commercial producer. Since then, he has served in several managerial roles, including branch manager of the company's Orange County, Calif. office. He also was responsible for building the Global Risk Management operation in Chicago with a focus on large accounts.

Since 2006, he has served as the company's vice president, mergers & acquisitions for its retail property/casualty brokerage operation and is responsible for developing, directing and managing this division's national acquisition campaign. Bohstedt is a graduate of Illinois State University and holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and risk management.
