Adler Center arts fair returns to Libertyville

The 31st annual David Adler Music and Arts Center's Festival of the Arts kicks off Saturday, Aug. 6, in Libertyville.

The two-day event will be staged in Cook Park, which is on Milwaukee Avenue in downtown Libertyville.

The festival will feature the work of juried artists. Exhibitors will line up along the park's sidewalks and in the park itself.

The festival has grown in recent years and is expected to feature nearly 100 artists.

Live performances by local musicians and dancers are planned, as well as artistic activities for children.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 6 and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7. Admission is free.
