Carpentersville Rotary Club to clean highways

Submitted by Rotary Club of Carpentersville

The Rotary Club of Carpentersville will begin its inaugural highway cleanup of the recently adopted highways in the Carpentersville community Saturday, Aug. 6.

The group will meet at 8 a.m. for breakfast at Denny’s, just south of Huntley Road on Route 31. The cleanup is from 9 a.m. to noon. Anyone 18 and older is welcome to volunteer.

The village of Carpentersville will provide bags and safety equipment. All Rotary members should wear their Blue Rotary shirts. If you need one, let Tina know as soon as possible so she can get the order back by Saturday.

Email Tina at polkadots@ameritech.net by Wednesday, Aug. 3, to let her how many are attending.
