3 people stabbed in Chicago drug store
Authorities are investigating an early morning attack at a Chicago drug store that left three people with knife wounds.
Police spokeswoman Amina Greer says a man in his 20s walked into a Walgreens in the city's Gage Park neighborhood at about 1 a.m. Tuesday and stabbed three people — two women and a man.
Police say officers arrested the knife-wielding man after they saw several people running out of the store.
Authorities say one of the women was stabbed in the breast, while the other was stabbed in the arms, abdomen and thigh. The male victim suffered a hand wound.
There's no word on a motive for the attack. Police say it doesn't appear that the attacker knew his victims.
